Meeting Mini Wall Desk, white, SO'HOME

Well , the desk itself is a lot heavier than expectations. I used the kitchen fitting to help spread the load.

The other problem is the actual plain of desk - it is slant inward to the wall by the design, which understandable.

Over all, the tips willl be - be careful for choosing the wall and use the right socket and screw. From my experience, to reduce the failure, invest on heavy duty kitchen fitting sockets is must, For less than 10’pounds but it will secure your successful installation.

My daughter has the smallest bedroom and this desk was an ideal solution. It came ready assembled but no fixings? It’s a bit pricey for what it is but she loves it. We bought it when there was 20% off.

Very well proportioned foldable desk.

Ideal if you have problem with space. It can be used as shelf when folded.

Very easy to fix, solid and well made.

As soon as we took it out of the box we decided to send this back, the quality was so poor. The circular hole was rough and not cut properly, nothing was screwed in properly, the fold out felt very weak, there were black smears and marks inside and droplets of dried glue plus the whole thing looked cheap and not worth the money at all, even at a discounted rate.

I was looking for a specific size table to fit in a desired space.

This fitted my requirements but basic and very pricey for what it is.

The delivery tracking on the website was unclear and I had to contact customer services via "live chat" to find out when it might be delivered as it showed "despatched".

Hermes was the courier service used and I got an email of the morning it was due for delivery, luckily I was at home that day.

It arrived in a cardboard box which had a few holes and marks although the unit was not damaged. The unit was fully constructed but you have to tighten all the screws and nuts. The magnetic catches were loose and could not be tightened further so had to be drilled and refitted.

It had a white powder coating on the product that needed wiping of. The item has two fixing holes on the inside, recessed for a number 10 screw (not provided). It recommends 2 people for fitting.

Time will tell if the brackets supporting the drop down shelf will last.

I would only recommend this if its on offer or if like me you are restricted by space
