Jimi Two-Tier Coffee Table, oak, LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

The coffee table is fantastic! It's simple sleek design fits well within our livingroom and was easy to assemble.

I have been searching for a long vintage coffee table for some considerable time. This is a long retro style and absolutely perfect, at a fraction of the price of vintage.

It arrived within a week and was very well packaged.

I like that it's sturdy, yet lightweight. It was easy to assemble with clear instructions provided.

I found the shelf a little trickier to put in place so, as I didn't have a extra pair of hands, I balanced the shelf on 2 cushions and was able to manoeuvre it in place.

I’m very happy with this product- it looks lovely in my living room and is practical, too!

As soon as opened, saw what a mistake this purchase was.,

Colour;very yucky yellow, not as depicted. The table itself and the magazine shelf below, different stain colour.

Marks; Black oily looking stains, one one end, (fingermarks ? )which were under the yellow lacquer, so permanent, would not clean off, I tried before I realised.

Construction; The plywood stringers under the table top were badly cracked. No strength in these.The 4 x mounting blocks for attaching the legs, were badly fitted and the mounting holes over drilled and rough so it would not have been possible to get a secure fit.I did not attempt to assemble as I had decided to return the table due to uneven colour and marks.

The company that actually manufactured this obviously have no quality control system in place whatsoever.

La Redoute did not quibble about a return and refund after I reported this, the only positive.

I bought it last month and it came very well packed. Easy to assemble, the wood is good quality and it has great size for a medium sized living room. I like the shapes and the design and it looks brilliant in the living room.

Looks lovely , there were a few parts of legs that had been scraped or not finished properly , in the manufacturing process but we managed to position them do you don’t notice them , it would have been helpful to have a position marking for the bottom shelf , but table is lovely

Unfortunately not impressed with this item - cheap plywood and veneer construction so wasn't expecting it to be amazing but the veneer isn't even that nice and it's quite a yellow veneer too. The legs aren't angled out sufficiently either so it's not all that stable. Overall, wouldn't recommend

Really happy with the table. Super quality and lovely finish. Exactly what I wanted.
