I opted for a larger size as I find the french sizes are at least a size smaller for example a uk14 would benefit a uk12. Overtime most clothes are less generous in sizes. I personally go a size up with any items including children. However only one fault with thus dress is that it did not come with a belt, though loops are present and it's to anyone's preference on wearing or not wearing a belt. I did too accessorise.

Ideally can be worn on winter months with boots and a chunky cardigan.

This item washes well at 30degrees hanged in airing cupboard to prevent any shrinkage, though could go in tumble dryer if needed quickly. Steam iron for a nice laundry finish.
