Comfortable seating
When choosing your sofa, there are two things you need to take into account: suspension and padding.
Concerning the suspension, springs give the seat a domed effect. They are extremely hard-wearing.
Webbing feels more supple and comfortable when sitting down.
Concerning the padding, the density of the foam must be at least 30kg/m3 to be really comfortable. And it has to be HR, standing for High Resilience, to ensure that it bounces rapidly back into shape. The foam is often accompanied by another layer for additional comfort – softer foam, feathers or cotton padding. Feather padding will lose its shape more easily. You will sink less into cotton or foam padding, but they will return to their original shape more rapidly, while providing firm but comfortable seating. -

Number one: hoover lightly at regular intervals with a soft brush suitable for upholstery.
Spilt liquid on the sofa? Dab it off immediately and wipe gently with an absorbent cloth without rubbing.
Is your sofa cover removable? The best thing is to have it cleaned professionally.
Remember to turn the seat and back cushions over and tap them regularly to prevent premature flattening.
