      Bit disappointing, to be honest

      Purchased this without actually seeing one first, and was expecting something reasonably similar to the cotton-based wipe-clean tablecloth we already owned from Habitat. Sadly though, whereas the Habitat one is very thick and still looks perfect at a year old, this one from La Redoute feels thin, flimsy and poor quality. It does look nice, and is waterproof, but seems to mark easily if you put anything heavy on the table. It is far too thin to offer the table any protection whatsoever: only by doubling it up with another tablecloth could we feel it was even vaguely likely to protect the surface.
