Actually this too is another of La Redoute dinner ware perfect for displaying food to its best effect. Another dinner party favourite. Served mini individual summer puddings in this with fresh summer fruit. Just as good for pasta dishes and any number of other options. Will use these a lot. Love them.

Although these plates are very good quality I am disappointed with the colour. It is a charcoal dark grey not true black. As a Graphic Designer I find this ever so slightly annoying - I really want to keep them because the style is great but... They are smaller than I wanted, my bad, I should have looked at the size but the picture was a tad deceptive, even in the cart they look almost the size of the large plates, the word 'deep plate' and the picture make them look like pasta bowls and they are not, they are small dessert/salad/soup bowls. I'm disappointed there are no larger matching bowls. (I have bought several gorgeous pieces of crockery from here in the past but I can never get a full matching set in anything! Why?!). I would recommend these if you like dark grey/off black/smaller bowls. Product design would have been 5 stars if they had been true black and not dark grey. Value 5 stars for sale price and full price is good based on the design for a set of 4. You would pay way more on designer sites (but you would also get a true black!)
