They are too narrow at the normal width comparing with the other new balance shoes. My son loved them at first and was very excited to have them. However wearing them one week later, he told me he would never put them on again because they were so uncomfortable for him. I also bought a pair of 574 New-b hook & loop at the same size, and they appeared to be very comfortable for my son. I am a little disappointed about this purchase.

After outgrowing size 4, we purchased the same NB 530 shoe in size 5 for 16 month old girl. The shoes are stylish, supportive and easy to clean.

My grandson loves that type of sneaker and that brand; I'll try wearing them myself.
