        No button on the side

        I bought these specifically for the boron on the side so it's easy for my son to put these on himself. Turns out it's not a button at all

        Beware: LaRedoute only sell the ‘narrow’ Birkenst

        My 7 yo son has wide feet and ‘normal’ width Birkenstocks are the only sandals that properly fit him. Normal width for Birkenstocks = wide compared to other shoe manufacturers.

        Sadly La Redoute make no mention of the width of the shoe on their website. Now having bought a pair, it appears they only sell the narrow Birkenstocks.

        My son said the shoes were comfortable but after a week I can see he really needed the wider shoe.

        The low score is not for the shoes but for the poor description on the La Redoute website which has led to this expensive mistake. I think La Redoute should know more about the products they are selling and describe them properly.
