        BRING THESE BACK - If you still care about skaters

        I don't know why you keep discontinuing the SK8 Low. PLEASE BRING THEM BACK. They are the PERFECT skate shoe for many, including myself. Skaters put Vans on the map and have been crazy loyal to the company for 50 years. LONG before they became trendy, we were here. I've been wearing Vans myself for a good 35 years - Eras, Slip-ons, Old Skools and (yes) SK8 highs. But once I discovered the SK8 lows, I knew I had found my perfect shoe: functional AND stylish...form AND function. And durable, with a large toe box and just enough support and cushioning while still maintaining excellent "board feel" through the soles. It drives me nuts every time I see a new Vans ad in my inbox touting some goofy "new" style or fancied up classic when you should be serving your core constituency. Every few months I check here to see if they are back only to be disappointed once again. WHEN WILLTHE SK8 LOW RETURN? I want to know. My current pair is finally wearing down (I'm looking at them right now) and I'm so desperate for something similar I'm actually looking at Converse. Ugh. You don't want that to happen, do you? After 35 years of marriage? I don't either. Bring 'em back.
