        Beautiful but with a significant flaw

        First, I adore this side table. The curves are beautiful, the size is perfect and the finish is excellent. Very kid friendly yet elegant. It is substantially heavy so even with small kids climbing it is stable. HOWEVER, despite my absolute love for it, it has a significant production flaw — the base is MDF covered and within weeks it starts having sizable air bubbles and eventually starts chipping. Its very noticeable and makes it seem low quality. The LaRedoute team have been absolute gems in helping exchange this table hoping it was a flaw with a single item. However after 4 tables, I now know this is a systemic issue. I did decide to eventually keep the last table I received as I do love it for its kid-friendly yet chic presence and didn’t want to keep returning unsustainably . However, I truly hope AMPM is taking note — this is quite a serious flaw with their design/execution and I hope they do better

        Beautiful side table

        AMPM has been hit or miss for some items in terms of quality, but this one is a beauty. Solid wood, crafted well. Elegant little side table with a lovely character and curves. Will be with us for a long time, even when the curvy organic furniture trend moves on
