A little narrow and the soles squeak loud on hard surface floors.

A very comfortable trail shoe, with a tough but flexible Vibram sole that holds up well. Transition of traction from hard surfaces to dirt trails and paths is good. It did take a bit of getting used to the rounded cushioning sole when you’re walking, but it didn’t feel uncomfortable.

I just bought this shoe. It fits well and the support & cushioning from the arch to the heel is good. It doesn't feel as though there is much cushioning from the ball of the foot to the toes. If there was balanced cushioning this would be a really good shoe.

Color did not match well to on screen color. But more important, I always order Merrell’s 1/2 size up and these were very narrow fit. Had to return.

At over 70 I don't trail run, but prefer the rubberized indoor-track at my local athletic club instead. I took a chance on these Merrell's just as knock-around shoes I liked the color of. Wow! What a comfortable shoe! I definitely prefer cushioned shoes in my old age and these more than fill the bill. Super comfortable and good looking at the same time (mine are white with orange highlights). Overall, I'm very pleasantly surprised with these shoes and wear them frequently!!

We went to Vegas and enjoyed wandering Las Vegas Blvd. Did a lot of walking! The shoes have a great arch lift to them and handled hiking at Hoover Dam as well!

Stylish, but not supportive for distance walking. The extra cushioning in the midsole comprises stability.
