Velvet Eyelet Curtain, teal green, LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

Well made and exceptional quality for the price. Lovely "mustard" colour, not too yellow like many. A few days for delivery but not unreasonable coming from France.

Having trawled all the major high street stores in person and online, I just couldn't find the exact dark teal green curtains I was looking for, so based on the image advertised, the description and the reviews I took a gamble and placed my first order with this company more through desperation than anything else.

The results are in after ironing them:

Firstly, I don't mind paying for 2 separate curtain panels if they're consistent and match perfectly.

Upon arrival (which was relatively quick and efficient), I was surprised that one curtain was packed as expected inside packaging, but the other was loose and rolled up in a separate bag as if it'd been pulled off a rail and stuffed in a bag... odd presentation and first impressions!? It could be customs, or it might just be a French thing.

As both curtains were very creased, I ironed them on the reverse. To the untrained eye, they're reasonably well matched, BUT one panel has the desired blue undertones within the dark green, while the other is more forest green. So they're definitely not an exact colour match.

The material itself is decent. It's not too thin or stiff but more elegant and flowing. Plus, it's not the type of velvet that will attract fluff (which is a bonus).

I'm unsure if the sun will bleach the dye but the room they're going in doesn't get direct sunlight and the fact they'll be separated with a white voile curtain should hide the very minor, out of line stitching that runs down one side seem.

I do love the fact that the rings are not bright gold as per the image. They're more of an antique brinze colour that complements my curtain pole.

Overall, I'd rate these curtains 80% out of 100% for both quality and colour inconsistencies.

Would I use this company again or buy these curtains? I would take the gamble! It depends on how much I desired the item that I couldn't find elsewhere.

Bought to help eliminate drafts from my son's front door. Well matched colour, one of the few curtains out there that fit due to the length required.

We are happy with the curtains. Went for the teal green, which admittedly leans a bit more towards a forest green (not a lot of blue undertones), but the color still works well in our space. Material is nice and decently thick - they are not supposed to be blackout curtains, but still block out a lot of light. Lovely curtains, especially if you get the sale price.

I have four panels of this curtain for a bay window. The Teal colour is very nice, and leans toward a forest green shade. It has a nice texture, but these curtains are unlined and not very thick, so while they do darken a room, they're not blackout. They also look a bit sad hanging alone on the sides, as they're so thin. I bought mine on sale, but wouldn't pay full price for them.

Lovely material, well made door curtain in a really nice colour similar to sage green and to top it all at a great price and speedy delivery.

I bought 3 pairs of these astounding value for money cotton velvet curtains in the sale to update my home and am soooo pleased. The colour praline is a gorgeous pinky peachy brown. They suffice to block out the morning light enough that I need to be sure of setting my alarm. So much of a better offer than a lot of the yukky polyester velvet I found elsewhere. These have a rich soft glow and I want them in more colours! The antique brass eyelets are a cinch to mount and beautiful too!
