        Schön, durchsichtiger als gedacht

        Hübsche Vorhänge. Trotz der Struktur ist der Vorhang insgesamt sehr durchsichtig, wodurch sich die hinter dem Vorhang gelegenen Fensterläden, Heizung usw. trotz ebenfalls weisser Farbe stark abzeichnen. Das ist etwas schade.

        Die Ringe machen ein gleichmässiges Auseinanderziehen des Vorhangs (mit schönen Wellen) schwierig - man muss es schon "von Hand" machen und jedes Mal zurechtzupfen, wenn man den Vorhang bewegt.

        Als grösstes Manko empfinde ich aber, dass nur eine Länge angeboten wird.

      WIDTH

      Measure the width of your window: the curtain rod should extend approximately 20 cm (8 inches) beyond each side of the window. Then calculate the required curtain width according to the desired fullness or pleated effect:

      • Curtains: 1.5 to 2 times the length of the curtain rod.
      • Sheers: 2 to 2.5 times the length of the curtain rod.

      HEIGHT

      The curtain rod should be installed at least 5 cm (2 inches) above the window.

      For a clean finish, leave a 1 cm (½ inch) gap between the bottom of the curtain and the floor. For a puddled look, add an extra 5 to 10 cm (2 to 4 inches).

      Finally, keep in mind that some fabrics may shrink after washing. When in doubt, always leave extra fabric in the hem so it can be adjusted later if needed.
