Aima Moucharabieh-Style Mango Wood Screen - LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

We have bought this to use as a screen in front of our living room window but whilst the room is being decorated we are using it as a room divider in our large hallway where we have created a small seating/TV area. The screen is sturdy and solid and I like that each of the 3 sections have a different cut out design. We chose the white I thought may have been more distressed but I like it anyway. Very pleased for the price and can't wait to use it in its intended place.

Firstly, the delivery was really fast and came well within the time frame. I was kept up to date regarding the delivery status. The screen is beautiful and is exactly as I hoped it would be. I'm using it as a window screen so bear in mind I have my heavy table against it to keep it in position as you can't have it flat unless you're doing something like this. It's very heavy and I personally couldn't have it freestanding even when hinged out like a room divider for example as I have young children around so I would ask you to bear this in mind as it would really do some damage if it got knocked over onto even an adult. discount I am thoroughly delighted. It really is gorgeous, very boho/ethnic and the mdf panels look like solid wood.

I am really pleased with the look and weight (it is heavy) of this screen and it is exactly what I hoped it would be.

However, I have given 4/5 instead of 5/5 stars because it arrived smelling terribly and the box it came in was filthy.

It has been a week now and the box it came in has been outside waiting for the next recycling collection, after all that time outdoors in wind and rain it still stinks out there!! The screen also smells awful thanks to this and I have cleaned it/aired it many times and the smell is not going.

I can only assume it was stored improperly at the warehouse but it really does not smell healthy (think: dead animal/vomit) if you have a sensitive nose/constitution, beware!

I am trying everything go get rid of the smell, here's hoping it goes away!!!

Came with white paint peeling off the sides. Doesn't look néw at all

The room dividers arrived promptly, well wrapped and protected. I was extremely pleased with it and my choice.

I ordered the white screen to go in my bedroom. So disappointed. It was put together poorly and looked shabby. there were chunks of wood broken off of the frame and they had just been painted over. None of the inner design lined up and the carving looked like a five year old had been let loose with a pen knife. Took it out the box then put it back in.
