Dawud bedside table in solid oak and oak veneer, natural, AM.PM

Quality isn’t as nice as it expected for the price. Wood finish is peeling in areas. Drawer is loose on the tracks and doesn’t stay centered.

I was pleased with how the bedside table looked, and that the legs and top were made from solid oak. However, the table is very wobbly as the joining method between the legs and underside of the table is poorly designed, and relies on small metal brackets which can't be tightened. Also, the inside faces of the table are very rough and hadn't been finished to the same standard as the outside faces. This coupled with raw MDF edges to the bottom edges of the drawer box means opening and closing the drawer is difficult and causes lots of friction. I had to sand the inside of the table and apply wax to the drawer box to improve this, but have been unable to stop the wobble.

I wanted a good-quality, smaller-sized bedside table with something more interesting than than a standard design and this one fits the bill. It fits perfectly into my smaller space while having a decent-sized surface to it for my lamp, phone, glass of water, etc. The rattan shelf is perfect for my bedtime reading and a box of tissues. The drawer front has an added interest by being recessed. All in all it's a very attractive piece of furniture. I'm delighted

Really pleased with this bedside table. Really good quality finish - solid wood not veneer. Perfect size and the shelf is really useful for storing book and charging phone/tablet.
