        Je suis longtemps restée avec les rideaux fournies avec mon appartement, des rideaux gris qui n'occultent rien du tout. Ces rideaux sont très beaux, le détail en noir est magnifique et le tissu est épais, doublé et occultant tout en gardant cet effet chenille, la couleur le soir penche plus du côté Terracotta que rose ce qui est très joli et agréable.

      WIDTH

      Measure the width of your window: the curtain rod should extend approximately 20 cm (8 inches) beyond each side of the window. Then calculate the required curtain width according to the desired fullness or pleated effect:

      • Curtains: 1.5 to 2 times the length of the curtain rod.
      • Sheers: 2 to 2.5 times the length of the curtain rod.

      HEIGHT

      The curtain rod should be installed at least 5 cm (2 inches) above the window.

      For a clean finish, leave a 1 cm (½ inch) gap between the bottom of the curtain and the floor. For a puddled look, add an extra 5 to 10 cm (2 to 4 inches).

      Finally, keep in mind that some fabrics may shrink after washing. When in doubt, always leave extra fabric in the hem so it can be adjusted later if needed.
