Moab 3 Gore-Tex hiking trainers, black, MERRELL

Item runs large. I sized up as per the website instructions. The shoes are too big by at least a half or full size. Merrrell is unable to ovenight a pair in the correct size so I will be returning them. This is my first and last time ordering from this website.

First pair of hiking shoes and I absolutely love them. Wore them on many hikes in the Smoky Mountains. I ordered a 9.5 but ended up returning them for a 10. Merrell was great to work with when I needed to exchange them. I would highly recommend the shoes and the company.

I broke both ankles in my 20’s and Moab brand are the only shoes, and boots, that I can use! Very supportive and comfortable!

Merrell has always fit me comfortably out of the box, these are no exception. I wear them for my gardening/landscape job, and they hold up pretty well over a season. My one complaint is that even though they are Gore-Tex waterproof, my feet do get wet if i walk thru a wet or dewy lawn. I think that because the seam of the liner and outer material is exposed at the top, the liner gets wet and then wicks moisture to the foot.

These are great shoes and exactly what I needed for the Camino de Santiago! And I hardly needed any "break-in" time. Very happy with these!

I had to replace my old Merrill’s. They came 3 days before my hiking trip. No blisters after 2 days on the trail!

My first pair of Merrill’s- Took them to lofoten islands in Norway- They worked great for the midnight hike, the stroll around the lake, hike up the stairs, and the scramble up to the peak. Once I figured out how to tie the laces to keep my toes from sliding forward going down hill… all was good!! No blisters, shoes were comfortable from the first step.

Took these to a rainy destination and they didn't disappoint! Handled mud, rocks, steep inclines/declines, cobblestones and kept my feet dry and comfortable. A little heavy, but not a dealbreaker. I did add my own arch supports.
