        Assembling this item is hard work

        I've assembled many items of furniture but this has to be the most fiddly I've done. The sideboard came together in the end but I had to re-drill the holes for the hinges so that the doors could fit properly.

        As for the finish, it's good but not great. The colour, dark blue-green or teal, is very dark and consequently dominates our hall.

        POIRET Solid Pine Unit

        Very pleased with the item. I think it is more teal blue. Very difficult to assemble as the panels were not numbered. Assembly instructions were clear but as they referred to numbered panels it was difficult to know what panel to use. This is the reason I awarded 4 stars instead of 5. Good quality however and heavy piece of furniture.

        The unit is much better quality than you average flat pack, NO MDF! !

        Disappointed

        Delivered Friday, constructed Sunday, took hours, 10mm gap between doors with no room for adjustment, very disappointed.
