        Not the colour I expected

        Much yellower than I expected so not the neutral addition to my room I had hoped for. Sadly returning.

        Won’t recommend

        This rug was very flimsy and cheap looking.i returned the item a week ago. Tracking has not moved since it was picked up. La redoute say give up to 14 days for return. This is a long time to wait for a refund.very disappointed.

        Great value rug

        The rug is really great for what we paid for it (managed to get it in the sale at an absolute bargain!). The only downside is that it does have a slight smell to it. Hopefully the more it airs, the smell will go.

        Stained by bits of dark bark mixed with the jute

        This rug had some major flaws - bits of decomposing bark or leaves were included in the weave amongst the jute, creating blue-brown stains where some had presumably gotten wet and their colour leached into the surrounding gold fibres, & there are flecks of ingrained mud where others had decomposed, and rough dark spots that look unsightly.
