Verlaine Patent Leather Sandals, ecru , JONAK

Lovely show but description and photo described dark brown. Shoe is more of a reddish brown/burgundy and therefore does not match my dark brown bag & jacket

I really like these sandals as the straps design helped visually elongate my legs. I have been looking for a pair of sandals with a block heel but without a strap across or near the ankle and I was really pleased to find these. The heel feels solid and a comfortable height. On the minus side, the square toe shape of the sole did not look right for my feet, and the straps on the right foot felt looser than on the left, maybe I was sent a pair that has been tried on repeatedly. Hence the 4 stars only. Also, disappointingly, my usual size 39 was sold out so I chanced a size 40 instead- the width was good but they were way too long (made worst by the square toe style), so they were reluctantly returned.
