Padded Gilet, black, THE NORTH FACE

Have been an avid customer of The North Face over many years, but probably for the first time, a little disappointed with the quality of this product. The Aconcagua vest is very light and not sure the nylon and stitching will hold up over time. A mobile phone feels very heavy in the pockets, for example. The North Face emblem is not stitched on and, for the money, this makes the vest feel very cheap. Doesn't feel particularly warm, either, when worn on its own. I had considered returning it, which would have been a first for a North Face product.

I have the vest in black already and wanted to round out my collection with the grey one. Next up is the Navy one!

This vest is the perfect weight and goes with everything. I have even received compliments on how nice it looks. I bought it for walking the dog on cooler mornings but find myself grabbing to wear on other occasions.

Perfect vest for cold weather. Light weight and great fit. Only downside is the logo is not etched, more like a glued logo.

I bought this second vest for my husband. He's been wearing his first one for a few years and mentioned the desire to have a black vest. So, I got him the Aconcagua 3 vest. It fits nicely, and he especially likes the deep inside pockets (which his first vest didn't have).

Love the fit and It's a warm vest. Great that it came in a color other than just black. Mine is blue.

I bought this for my son for Christmas and he loves it! Lightweight and warm!
