        Not the colours shown

        The glasses are a lovely size and I am pleased with them. The photo is deceptive though as the colours are much darker and more muted than the bright ones shown.

        Great for microwave poached eggs

        I bought these to poach eggs in my microwave oven. I needed borosilicate glasses because it is microwave safe. Also, poached eggs often stick to the normal plastic microwave poachers whereas the eggs don’t stick to borosilicate glasses. I only have to be careful with the microwave timing, as, even without the shell, an egg can make a bang and a huge mess in the microwave, as I found out when one egg blew. Minimum timing is necessary. Brilliant glasses for my poached eggs.
