06/04/2025Just what we wanted!
Great blind. Plenty of light filters through but maintains privacy. Very easy to install - only took me 10 mins single handed. Note that the drop is 170cm.

07/03/2025Unsatisfied
I am extremely disappointed with the blinds I have received. I previously owned the same blinds, but there is a significant color difference between my existing ones, which are off-white, and the new ones, which appear more beige

07/05/2024Really poor quality
I'm really surprised about all the positive reviews here. The blinds are really flimsy, the linen type fabric extremely thin and cut off straight, meaning these don't look straight. I've returned both, but it's been a real waste of time. Ikea quality much better. The fabric resembles very thin cheap muslin you would use in the kitchen to cover a roast turkey with

11/02/2024It's the fabric that wins here
This product arrived very quickly at my chosen pick-up point. I immediately noticed that the long, thin package was beent at an alarming angle. On opening, I discovered that the top bar - a fairly flimsy length of wood - had snapped in the middle.
But then I felt the material of the blind - it is a gorgeously organic mix of linen and cotton. It feels good, it folds up beautifully, and when the rare sunbeams light it up, it's sensational.
Rather than send the product back (I was in a hurry and just can't stand the hassle) I repalced the top bar with a plastic one from an old blind, same size, transferred the hooks and strings that control the roman blind, and installed it. The whole palava took me less than 45 minutes, and the result is a beautiful, natural off-white Roman blind that rises and folds so gloriously that I sometimes do it just for pleasure. The natural irregularities of the weave just add to the pleasure. It's a simple, effective blind that filters and softens light, provides as much privacy as I want, and is a constant object of admiration. I might well buy some more, but do please strengthen that top bar!

20/02/2023Bought in the past but now poorer quality
I've bought these blinds in the past, theyre great as a sort of pelmet over a blackout blind to pretty it up. This latest one was poor quality.I understand the properties of linen fabric that it is an uneven weave etc but this was so thin in areas it looks like holes. I kept it as I really needed a privacy solution while my kitchen was being done, ordinarily I'd have returned it. Def a QC issue at La Redoute, had another order turn up recently with dents.

10/10/2022Quality control issues ! Arrived in own sweet time
I have another of these bound bouggt years ago and the linen is good quality with no faults . Now I work with fabric , I know there are ‘flaws ‘ in the weave of linen but this is an outright quality control issue ! There are are couple of patches of what’s very close to being holes. Not impressed . Also other companies seem to send things out fairly promptly whereas la redoute seems to take its sweet time . Maybe it’s because it was a ‘sale ‘ / discount so they thought they’d offload something dodgy stock or maybe the quality just is this poor now

26/11/2021Pretty fabric but mishapen
Lovely linen material but the blind doesn’t hang straight as the material mishapen. Disappointing considering the price - not particularly cheap.
