Scenario Organic Cotton Duvet Cover - LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

Awful texture. meant to be 100% organic cotton but feels like sand paper- avoid at all costs

I love the colour and have been unable to find an alternative option for the colour pallet I wanted but this is perfect! Earthy tones and just beautiful. I was confused with how to fit the envelope style duvet cover but it was actually very easy and looks lovely. A little crisp to sleep in after first wash but imagine that will soften in the next wash. I would recommend.

Took 10 mins to get the duvet in the cover due to its weird sleeve, that then just hangs. Also was strange size. Sending back. Not fit for purpose. Also states organic, but dubious as the label doesn’t state organic cotton and it should do.

Perfect, I’m satisfied.

I put the duvet cover and matching pillow slips into the wash before using them. It wasn't until I hung the cover up to dry that I noticed the weird, " Bottle Neck " arrangement for closing it up. Fitting a springy, high loft, King size duvet through that gap is going to be a struggle. I like my bed to look neat and tidy, but it won't with all that excess fabric to tuck in somewhere. I shall have to use my sewing machine to modify it at some later date. What a nuisance!

Basic whit duvet which I wanted , the opening is VERY strange it’s like a funnel at one end of the duvet . Extremely difficult to get a heavy double feather duvet inside. I had kept this to freshen up bedding and was too late to return. Will be getting cut up for cloths .

The description for this duvet cover does not mention that the open end of the cover does not have a fastening but narrows to a sort of tongue flap. I didn't even try to squeeze the duvet into the narrow gap, because then what do you do with all the flapping fabric! The fabric is thin and even though apparently is cotton, it feels like polyester.
