        Stolen Order - Made to Pay For

        I have contacted Laredoute on 4 occassions to tell them that EVRI left a parcel at my front door which is less than a meter from the footpath and a busy road. No attempt was made to leave in safe place, or with a neighbour. LARDEOUTE are refusing to answer my emails and are making me pay for goods I did not receive. I have contacted the police. Shocking that a disabled person with a severely life limiting illness, with no monies uses this service as a means to buy goods I can't afford - only to be made pay for nothing. Goods totalled £180

        Love the eyelet feature

        I appreciate these white voile curtains & the eyelet feature but wish the eyelets were also available in mate brass, copper, black & white eyelets. They give me a sense of privacy without blocking out all the light from the room

        Lovely curtains which soften the light, while not blocking too much. I ordered 2 of the minimum size which was more than enough for my bay window. The only downside - it takes a while to iron out all the creases, but very happy with the results.

      WIDTH

      Measure the width of your window: the curtain rod should extend approximately 20 cm (8 inches) beyond each side of the window. Then calculate the required curtain width according to the desired fullness or pleated effect:

      • Curtains: 1.5 to 2 times the length of the curtain rod.
      • Sheers: 2 to 2.5 times the length of the curtain rod.

      HEIGHT

      The curtain rod should be installed at least 5 cm (2 inches) above the window.

      For a clean finish, leave a 1 cm (½ inch) gap between the bottom of the curtain and the floor. For a puddled look, add an extra 5 to 10 cm (2 to 4 inches).

      Finally, keep in mind that some fabrics may shrink after washing. When in doubt, always leave extra fabric in the hem so it can be adjusted later if needed.
