Lunja Brushed Solid Pine Bed, dark wood, LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

The finishing looks nothing like the pictures. In real, the wood looks very fake and nothing natural. And it has no slates.

This bed comes with no slates as mentioned in all English reviews.

The colour and finish of the Lunja bed looks nothing like the pictures on the website. The finish is very orange and the finish is smooth and not brushed/textured in any way. I previously bought another bed on La Redoute’s website (the Quilda style) which looked like the pictures, but this time with the Lunja it has been a very disappointing experience.

The mattress just falls through the frame due to the lack of slats so you can either sleep on a slope or on the mattress on the floor within the frame (if you remove the central beam). Such a waste money. Please also be alert to the disparity between the name of the size and the dimensions listed. Eg a 'King Size' is actually the dimensions of a European Queen.

As a first time bed buyer I did not realise a bed with no base would mean the bed is totally unusable. The website does not even offer the bed slats.

Had to purchase bed slats as the bed was obviously not useable without, this should be a lot clearer on the advert.

Also received a European king not a uk King which was not clear enough.

Bed is a lot darker than the photos.
