Steel Metal Bed, Asper - LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

This bed is only described as “king size” but on arrival we have found it is European King Size and it’s caused no end of problems. The separately priced slats are extortionate so we had to order elsewhere. The bed itself is lovely, we’ve still not been able to source a mattress in the right size. I wouldn’t order again just because of the size issue not being clearly shown as it just says “king size”. Also because it’s extremely expensive if you factor in the extra cost for the bed base which is sold separately for some reason.

We are very pleased indeed with the finished product. It's a lovely design and the dull brass colour works well in our room. The delivery men took it upstairs for us. We didn't find it too easy to put together. The screw holes are not always lined up and we had to leave two screws out in the end as they wouldn't go in. It's a bit odd that it doesn't come with a base and the Redoute king size base is expensive.
