    beautiful finish

    Strong, sturdy and sure to last a lifetime. High quality bedframe which is HEAVY solid wood. Easy to put together, took about an hour. Would have been quicker except one of the slats needed trimming to fit a slightly-wrongly-cut panel, which was very unusual and foxed me for a while. It didn't affect the final finish though so not deducting a star. Be aware that the delivery took over 3 weeks though, but for under £300 in the sale, well worth the wait.

    Lovely solid bed but…

    I made the huge mistake of purchasing this bed before reading the reviews (I usually read them all first!) and unfortunately didn’t realise that the measurements were for a European size king and not UK standard. Only just purchased a new mattress so not an option to change that so now I’m out of pocket need a new bed and have a brand new bed that I don’t know what to do with!!!! It is a nice solid bed and had it been the right size I’d of been thrilled with it. Just wished it would of been made clearer on the website.

    Super sturdy bed frame, simple and good looking

    Good quality oak bed frame

    The bed looks good and feels well made and really solid. I made 2 mistakes. One was that the king size is for a european king size matress 160cm wide and our matress is 150cm. The other mistake in assembling was assuming all the legs are the same which they are not, so you have to pay attention to which leg goes where. The instructions are clear i was just not concentrating…
