       •  Wool is a warm and comfortable fibre. A wool rug is also an excellent thermal and sound insulator.
       •  Some materials are very fibrous (such as wool) Wool rugs pill naturally during the first few months: this is a normal for this type of product and is not a defect. Remove the excess fibres by hand where possible, do not use a vacuum cleaner with a rotating brush as this can pull and tear the fibres . The pilling will improve over time.

        Lovely looking but

        It looks really good but it feels like plaited felt rather than wool, so I can see it will get fuzzy pretty quickly, things will get stuck in the fibres and I’m not sure it could be hoovered nicely. I wouldn’t keep it as a rug that would actually be walked on or sat on it’s only good for decor I think

        Bad quality and moults constantly

        I was very excited to get this in the sale but the quality is terrible. It moults constantly and as a result the quality looks sub par. Am contacting La Redoute to try and organise a return for bad quality.

        Thank you for your comment. We're very sorry that this product did not meet your expectations.

        This product contains wool, which has long fibres. It is therefore normal that during the first few weeks of use, you may notice some fluffing. This will fade over time.

        However, as mentioned in our product sheet on our website, we do not recommend using the hoover in brushing mode, as this will pull the wires and therefore create this build-up.

        Beautiful woollen rug

        Bought the rug for my living room. Love it. So soft and feels luxurious. Heavy and lies flat so i haven’t had to worry about it moving.

        Not practical

        This had such a loose weave and was so nylony and would have been impossible to keep clean so I had to return it .

        Just not practical!

        Such a shame because when this rug first arrived I was so thrilled with it. It was squishy and soft and beautiful. Two days later however, the shedding was RIDICULOUS! The rug looked like we had owned it for years, not days! Bits started coming in woven, big chunks were shedding off the rug and my whole house was covered in fluff! The rug now looks absolutely awful and I am embarrassed to have it in our home. We thought this was a lovely investment piece but I am so disappointed! I am an interior designer and often specify la reroute products in my concepts. I will never recommend this rug however.
