Onega Washed Linen Blackout Curtain with Eyelets - LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

I ordered these hoping that they would be exactly what I was looking for - which was great quality black out curtains. Unfortunately the black out lining does not match the length of the linen material - meaning there is a gap in where the light shines through between the end of the shorter black out material and the linen.

These curtains are beautiful but they are not blackout. They are well made in a really lovely material and lined but unfortunately still let a lot of light in. I wouldn’t recommend these for the bedroom if you are a light sleeper.

A beautiful curtain, lovely material, great hang and the blackout lining let’s no light through. Mine hang over a blind.

I can only imagine people complaining they are not blackout is because of light passing though the sides.

I bought this to go with other curtains also from La Redoute bought several years ago. It isn't the same but I knew I would not be able to match them. This curtain has more drape but it is equally good at blackout-and, I hope cutting door draughts!

These look super - actually the second pair I’ve bought, but i have two reservations: they most certainly don’t act as any sort of blackout. They hang nicely as they’re lined and it makes them more substantial than the unlined linen - but the light still pours through and wakes me up every morning.

Secondly, the colour is not what I wanted. It’s always so hard with colours on- line but these look much more off- white in the pictures and are most definitely a yellow cream in real life.

Still, they were an excellent price in the sale so I can’t really complain. Great value and look much pricier than they were

The fabric, the colour, the quality- everything is absolutely great.

I needed a black out curtain for my nursery with these long summer nights coming, so ordered this curtain (which wasn’t cheap but thought it will be worth it because it’s linen which is what I wanted and black out). It arrived and I was surprised to see the lining wasn’t the standard black out fabric I was expecting. But thought I’ll give it a try...maybe it was some new innovative fabric, so held it up to my window and...no way is it black out at all! It’s a beautiful linen curtain but for that price I wanted it to do the job I intended and block out light to the nursery but it totally didn’t, therefore I had to send it back. Lovely linen though, it’s basically just lined, however it’s a nice soft thick lining so may provide a bit of warmth to a window....but not in the slightest blackout. Took a while to arrive as well so waste of time ordering it.
