        Great curtains but colour all wrong

        Felt like great quality linen curtains. But I ordered white curtains and these were not white, but a cream colour. Sadly returned them

        Lovely white linen curtains for summer months

        I bought these curtains to swap for my heavier thermal curtains in the summer months. The colour of the eyelets works very well with the decor in the room. My only complaint is that there is a small red label stitched into the top of each curtain - I've trimmed them off but I can still see the remainder of each label within the white fabric layers and will have to unpick the stitching to remove them completely. I admit that I'm very fussy about this sort of thing, but I think it would be better if the labels were white.

        Color darker than advertised

        Editor, please photograph products naturally. It's tempting to use filters yet misleading for the customer.

        Even with sun shining through the Bracken green curtains they are alot darker than close up photographs shown online

        However the linen is nice and have put them somewhere other than intended. Just annoying about colour

      WIDTH

      Measure the width of your window: the curtain rod should extend approximately 20 cm (8 inches) beyond each side of the window. Then calculate the required curtain width according to the desired fullness or pleated effect:

      • Curtains: 1.5 to 2 times the length of the curtain rod.
      • Sheers: 2 to 2.5 times the length of the curtain rod.

      HEIGHT

      The curtain rod should be installed at least 5 cm (2 inches) above the window.

      For a clean finish, leave a 1 cm (½ inch) gap between the bottom of the curtain and the floor. For a puddled look, add an extra 5 to 10 cm (2 to 4 inches).

      Finally, keep in mind that some fabrics may shrink after washing. When in doubt, always leave extra fabric in the hem so it can be adjusted later if needed.
