Beautiful quality bench- impossible to build
Love the bench and really good quality but impossible to get the screws in… my husband did the rest easily but we had to spend £60 on getting a handyman to drill the nails in. It was really annoying and considered sending it back before we got help!

Hiba bench - not like other Hiba items
We have the Hiba dining table and the shelves, but the finish on the bench is completely different. It is less 'orange' and looks faded. Unfortunately built in the evening and only realised the difference in shades in the daylight the next day. I'll also be worried when 3 people sit on it as it doesn't feel very sturdy. Disappointed in this but stuck a bit as didn't check it thoroughly before building it.

Solid bench
A solid bench- not too difficult to put together but needs a drill. Bench does not match the table in the range - which was disappointing but not easily seen in online photos.

Looks nice, but doesn’t really match the table
Bought this bench. Relatively happy with it. It fits well under the matching table. The the colour of the wood on the table and the bench are not really the same.

Nice sturdy bench
We bought this bench in the sale along with the 8 seater dining table from the same Hiba collection. Pleased, although a couple of things were disappointing:
- the wood pattern is slightly different on both pieces (see photo)
- when putting the bench together, we realized the wood frame was slightly different from the metal frame, making it a bit tricky to assemble. It's just not 100% rectangular.

One of the legs isn’t drilled to accept a bolt
Bought this along with a table for delivery for Xmas. Table arrived a little later but was all good for Xmas. Bench arrived much later so it’s been sat in the box until needed. Today I go to assemble. Looks much easier. Win. So I think. Turns out one side of the legs hasn’t been drilled to accept the bolts. Eye roll emoji etc. Thanks. Why should we the customers have to be the quality control checkers? It’s too late for that. Now it can’t be used at all, never mind for the past Xmas.

Great look, questionable design
I really love the design and how it looks with the matching table. I knew it would need som assembly based off other reviews but I wish they were more clear about how it gets put together. There are no holes drilled into the solid piece of wood so you're expected to use the screws to make your own. While the screws are sharp, they barely make a dent in the wood, even with a lot of effort. Even if you can get them in enough to feel secure, once you sit down you'll realise they're not flush and hear them scrape against the metal. After 3 times trying to get the screws in securely without stripping the screws, I ended up buying a power drill to drill the holes which finally helped. So be prepared for some work if you get these - or maybe they can just help by predrilling holes and save the effort and pain.
