        Lovely curtain

        I bought a black curtain pole to go with the curtain, as in the website photo and it is beautiful, hangs in a drapey way and suits the window. Exactly as it is described the texture makes it far more interesting than a voile would.

        Nice material and colour, wrong length

        I bought the natural colour in 220cm length. They're a nice material, nice colour, nice texture to add to a bedroom. I wouldn't say they're good value for money though, very overpriced for what you get.

        But 220cm they are not. Measured and they're 230cm. So beware you may not get what is advertised.

      WIDTH

      Measure the width of your window: the curtain rod should extend approximately 20 cm (8 inches) beyond each side of the window. Then calculate the required curtain width according to the desired fullness or pleated effect:

      • Curtains: 1.5 to 2 times the length of the curtain rod.
      • Sheers: 2 to 2.5 times the length of the curtain rod.

      HEIGHT

      The curtain rod should be installed at least 5 cm (2 inches) above the window.

      For a clean finish, leave a 1 cm (½ inch) gap between the bottom of the curtain and the floor. For a puddled look, add an extra 5 to 10 cm (2 to 4 inches).

      Finally, keep in mind that some fabrics may shrink after washing. When in doubt, always leave extra fabric in the hem so it can be adjusted later if needed.
