Aftas Square Jute Rug, natural, LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

The rug was shipped late from France to the UK. Then it waited in the courier company’s depot. I was told there was a problem with it “due to its size.” Then I wrote to La Redoute to ask whether they can follow up with the courier company. In response they cancelled my order, citing ‘failed delivery attempts’. Of course there was no delivery attempt (I live in a very small place, I was in touch with the delivery guy throughout, the rug never came to him).

Now I’m waiting for the rug to return to them and only then they will refund me (as if I’ve received but decided to return the order). The whole thing has been a series of failures.

Really happy with this rug. Adds warmth, grounding and texture to the room. I’ll be adding an underlay as it does move a little.

Tracking information was not updated so I was surprised when it arrived!

Exactly the size I was looking for and square rugs are quite hard to find. The colour is classic natural jute, not as orange in colour as the website suggests. Great price with a discount code too, have received many compliments. I may get an underlay as the rug does slip underfoot a little.

Ordering was easy, communication was good & the rug arrived on time. It looks fabulous & fits in so well with my mid century furniture!

Communication was great. I was kept updated the whole time as to when delivery would be. I was even given advice about the type of vehicle that would be used. And the rug came at the promised time.

The rug is lovely quality and reasonably price. Really cannot find fault with anything. Will definitely shop with you again.

I ordered this square Jute rug and was a little nervous as it looked quite red, rather than natural, in the photo. It arrived and is totally natural jute colour. It looks fabulous in my room too. I’m purchasing underlay though as it’s a loose weave and is sitting on a hard floor.

Fabulous rug at great price in the offer. The colour is gorgeous on an oak floor and it’s so soft underfoot on bare feet. I looked for months to find the right rug as most manufacturers don’t make square.
