        The most beautiful curtains!

        I was unsure if any curtains could be worth this price tag. They arrived and the material is beautiful and the embroidery is delicate and adds texture. The embroidery isn’t as strong a colour as the pictures, it is more beige in natural light.

      WIDTH

      Measure the width of your window: the curtain rod should extend approximately 20 cm (8 inches) beyond each side of the window. Then calculate the required curtain width according to the desired fullness or pleated effect:

      • Curtains: 1.5 to 2 times the length of the curtain rod.
      • Sheers: 2 to 2.5 times the length of the curtain rod.

      HEIGHT

      The curtain rod should be installed at least 5 cm (2 inches) above the window.

      For a clean finish, leave a 1 cm (½ inch) gap between the bottom of the curtain and the floor. For a puddled look, add an extra 5 to 10 cm (2 to 4 inches).

      Finally, keep in mind that some fabrics may shrink after washing. When in doubt, always leave extra fabric in the hem so it can be adjusted later if needed.
