      Product Description

Elba linen light-filtering curtain with pencil pleat or wave - LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

The Elba curtain is made from a linen with a heavyweight, elegant drapel. It dresses windows and adds a sophisticated look to your home.
Appreciated for its authenticity, linen becomes more beautiful and softer with every wash..

2 possible fixings : pencil pleat or wave finish.

The gathering braid creates pleats according to the spacing you want. A choice of hook positions (hooks sold separately on the website) allows you to choose the drop to conceal or show off the curtain rail.

The wave finish adds regular, elegant waves to the curtain. Uniform pleats for a clean, contemporary and pared back look.
Order the rail to suit your choice of fixing separately.

      Care Advice
       •  Machine washable at 30°C
       •  Maximum shrinkage after washing : 7 to 10% approx. Fabrics made from natural fibres may shrink in the first wash. Always wash your curtains before making any alterations.
       •  Do not tumble dry
       •  If you don't need to iron them (linen curtains, Voile Panel...), let the curtains air dry by hanging them immediately after washing, making sure to spread them out to their full width.
       •  If you want to iron your curtains, we recommend using a low-temperature steam iron or a steamer.

Not the colour in the picture

The curtain material and quality looked great.

But I ordered the tobacco colour expecting them to be in the brown spectrum - as per the pictures - but they are more or a grey/green colour. So not suitable for my space. Sadly had to return.

      Redoute - Home – Curtains & Sheers

      Dimensions: Width × Height

      WIDTH

Measure the width of your window: the curtain rod should extend approximately 20 cm (8 inches) beyond each side of the window. Then calculate the required curtain width according to the desired fullness or pleated effect:

      • Curtains: 1.5 to 2 times the length of the curtain rod.
      • Sheers: 2 to 2.5 times the length of the curtain rod.

      HEIGHT

The curtain rod should be installed at least 5 cm (2 inches) above the window.

For a clean finish, leave a 1 cm (½ inch) gap between the bottom of the curtain and the floor. For a puddled look, add an extra 5 to 10 cm (2 to 4 inches).

Finally, keep in mind that some fabrics may shrink after washing. When in doubt, always leave extra fabric in the hem so it can be adjusted later if needed.
