I bought this is Feb 22 and it has been sat against a wall looking pretty ever since. The quality of the materials is great. However, the quality of the build is terrible. On moving it to clean under for the second time ever one of the legs and joints came clean off. After inspecting them, it's clear it's the same problem as the most recent review mentioned: the pre-drilled holes are too big and so the screws cannot grip and keep the two pieces together. On contacting LaRedoute to flag the issue, I was told there's nothing they can do as the piece is >6 months old and so any fault must, in their view, be "customer damage". Disappointed and won't be re-purchasing despite the fact this item is rather perfect for the space.

Tbh, the quality is good but the details made things really bad. Three screws won't tighten and then the table collapsed on my lap while I was sitting. I solved the problem by adding some plastic sticks into the holes they drilled (which were too big and that's why screws can't be tightened). But it costed me a vase, a crack on my wooden floor and painful knees. Plus, it is not as convenient as it seems to be to expand the table.

Got this to use as a desk which I sometimes open up two work with another person and it's perfect. Lovely to look at. As a console, there's plenty of space of a laptop and books etc.

I bought this table as I wanted to save space in my combined living / dining space. I liked the slim look of this but did not expect such beautiful quality. The wood is solid and carved so well it’s a delight to sit at for dinner. I’m in love with it!

Initially seemed like a good purchase but have noticed that the parts have come away from each other. Very disappointed as only used for very light use and the item was quite expensive

Robust , elegant and functional

I wanted something that I could use a desk in lockdown but easily convert back to something less intrusive in the living room. It's the perfect size for a desk and looks sleek. I'm very happy with this purchase and its already getting a lot of use.

I love this table, in using it as a desk when not needed as a dining table. Although the top is veneer but it feels and looks like a solid piece of wood. The legs are solid wood. It's really nice and with the discount I got it's really great value. Very easy to assemble too. Highly recommend.
