Scenario Quilted Cotton Bed Cover - LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

I've been looking for a valance for a while but nothing quite hit the mark until I saw this. At 38 cms it's the perfect height for my bedframe and hides all the shoe boxes perfectly! It's designed for a divan, so I did have to cut off the corners that would fit over a divan so it could slot around the bedframe but I was aware I'd have to do that and it was easy to do. Very pleased with the quality and design.

I ordered this bed valance because I was struggling to find the correct depth for a spare bed. It fitted perfectly and looks so pretty.

The material that is quilted is very nice but the actual material that covers the base under the mattress is thinner than I would usually like.

Having said that, it won’t be taken off very often so should be fine.

I ordered this in ecru - I didn't go for the white because it looked almost grey in the second photo. When it arrived, the fabric had a strange yellowish tinge, not at all the peachy undertones displayed in the pictures. The colour is so strange, almost like it's been stained with urine! I have attached pictures - this is not the result of having yellow-toned lightbulbs either, it looks like this in daytime.

I also thought the fabric was supposed to have a bit of a sheen to it, but I think I might have misunderstood. It feels rough and cheap, like it's already 20 years old (especially combined with the yellow undertones).

I mainly bought this valance specifically because I thought it had split corners, but again the photo was a bit unclear.

Not impressed but I got it on sale and returns cost £4, so I'll put up with it.

Thank you - as advertised. I ordered a king size for my double bed to make sure it was not too stretched per measurements provided. Really pretty. Under parts on the corners arrive a little creased/squashed but are hidden so it’s fine. Really nice.
