Yann Solid Pine Storage Bed - LA REDOUTE INTERIEURS

We used to have a solid pine kids’ bed, but as our child grew, we decided to buy a teenage version. Unfortunately, we are quite disappointed. The slats are much thinner than standard MDF, and the panels are extremely flimsy. The bed doesn’t attach securely to the shelves, so every movement on the mattress makes the parts rattle against each other. The headboard shelf is fixed to main shelf with tiny brackets, which feels very unstable. Overall, the whole construction seems weak and unlikely to last long.

The wood is completely untreated, so it marks easily with just a touch. Now we’ll have to take it apart again and at least coat it with some protective wax. Another frustration is that a standard mattress doesn’t fit properly into the lower section—it’s too tall. We have to lift the main frame and sort of place it on top, which is very inconvenient.

For the price, I expected much better quality. This was a real disappointment.

My Daughter loves this bed, it took about 3 hrs to build and looks good. However although the surrounding shelves and trundle are adequate. I think the main bed could have done with better strengthening and materials .the slates should be solid wood. Hoping it lasts.

My son loves his new bed. It took me a day to assemble it alone. The instructions were clear. There were a couple holes drilled in the wrong place for wooden plugs, but all screws had correct holes pre-drilled, so it holds together well. I am very pleased with this bed and shelves.

We just assembled Yann solid pine bed this weekend. I was very disappointed by its quality. It's not solid at all, it is very shaky and fragile. The storage bed won't support the weight of a child. The bed is not attached on the shelves so it make it very climsy. I will give it six month until it breaks.

Absolutely chuffed with my daughters new bed. Took a little while to wait for it but customers services where brilliant and quick to respond with updates.

The design of the bed is what attracted us as we're do like minimal design and for the price it ticked the boxes. Instructions where faultless and the bed was super easy to ensemble. Would highly recommend.

Ultimately the beds look great but I paid a couple of guys to put up the two beds that I bought and it took them forever - they said it was by far the hardest flat pack construction they’d ever done.

Very light "solid" pine storage bed. Solid pine ha sprobably different meaning.

On assembly, easily breaks when screwing down.

I bought this a month ago and its perfect for my daughter who has lots of little treasure to keep safe close to her.

It takes some time to build but everything was there.
