      Finish and materials
      The Gogain range is the result of crackled enamelled stoneware production.
      This enamelling technique, developed in Asia in the 16th century, is entirely handmade in China. To achieve this crackled finish, the ceramic pieces are immersed in water directly from the oven. This significant thermal shock leads to the appearance of cracks and the metallic effect of the colour.
      The colour, the cracks and the final shape of each piece depends on the temperature, the length of time in the oven, the thickness of the enamel and the mode of application.

      This finish is entirely handcrafted, each piece is unique and will bring a unique touch to your table..

        Beautiful little mugs

        I’m very happy with these little mugs. My husband and I were looking for something exactly like this for our morning coffee which is usually a cortado. The size is in between an espresso and normal sized coffee mug which is perfect for us.

        Lovely but tiny

        Lovely quality cups but please check the measurements. Should be described as expresso cups not coffee cups. Such a shame as I’ve been after something like this for ages. LaRedoute, please do them in a bigger size.

        Tiny- complete waste of money

        Perhaps I didn’t read the description properly, but my little heart sank when I opened the box and realised I’d spend a fortune on dolls house cups!

        Espresso sized for a yorkshire die hard tea drinking family. They’re perfectly patterned for my theme but will never be used here. Sob.
