      Mutanya Hand Woven Wool Rug, blue, AM.PM

      The comfort and softness of wool, sublimated by the original shades of a handmade tie and dye colouration. The skeins of wool are twisted and then immersed in successive colour baths.
      The wool is randomly dyed in multiple shades, creating subtle gradations of colour. Hand-woven by expert craftsmen, each rug is a unique piece, a guarantee of exacting craftsmanship and exceptional quality. A timeless and authentic creation by AMPM.

      Each rug is handmade in India by artisan weavers, masters of an ancestral skill handed down from generation to generation. Knotted, tufted or hand-woven, our rugs perpetuate traditional weaving techniques that bear witness to a culture dating back thousands of years.
      Genuine decorative elements offering thermal and acoustic insulation, they add a unique and warm touch to your home furnishings.

      Wool is a warm and comfortable natural fibre. As well as being hard-wearing and durable over time, wool rugs provide acoustic and thermal comfort.

      Care Advice
       •  Some materials such as wool are very fibrous and you can actually observe a piling during the first weeks of use: this is normal, because the carpet "bursts" by rejecting its excess fibres. Remove lint as much as possible by hand and definitely do not use the vacuum cleaner in brushing mode because this has the effect of pulling the fibres and tearing them out.. The pilling will improve over time.
       •  We advise you to vacuum it very little the first month and then to vacuum it without rubbing too much, always without using the brush.
       •  Remove stains immediately with a clean damp cloth.
       •  Dry clean recommended.

        Striking quality rug

        I wanted a real wool rug for my new house without a man made backing as I have underfloor heating.

        The rug is perfect. I have porcelain floor tiles and the rug does not move as it has weight.

        The colours are lovely shades of blue and cream and everyone comments in it.

        very stylish rug

        I was looking for a blueish rug, not "too blue", without designed patterns, and made of natural material, ideally wool. I saw this rug in a AM.PM store in Paris, and the photo looks like to actual product (which is not always the case). The material and design are really good, the feel is also very pleasant, and it is affordable for a hand-woven rug. The delivery was faster than expected.

        Beatifully shaded & substantial rug.

        The largest Muntaya rug in blue is a substantial piece of wool - weighing in at around 30kg, and being 5cm thick. It has a fabulous blend of Navy, sea-free & white threads, with the overall effect like rippling water. I'm really happy with, so much so that I've just ordered a smaller version for another room.

        Looks brilliant

        This rug is for our new kitchen/breakfast room - and adds the block of darkish colours to create a dash on a whitish floor ing provide colour, material and hand-worked craft to contrast with plain contemporary cabinets. Good quality, robust and thick, with enough artisan-look to make it special and different
