        Poor finish; splinters to the skin!

        The finish of the wood is poor; running hands along certain (exterior) surfaces will put splinters in your fingers! Also there are knocks and gouges in certain pieces - see picture.

        Finally none of the numerous pieces are labelled making it much more time consuming to construct.

        Thank you for your feedback and we are very sorry that this product did not meet your expectations.

        Following your review, we have carried out a quality inspection of our products in stock.

        We have not noted any quality problems and the wooden parts are well manufactured. The finish of this product is slightly brushed to bring out the grain of the wood. This finish is not smooth and this is what probably disappointed you. The product also has a protective varnish, which prevents splinters.
