       •  In the heart of Portugal, the hub of a family-run ceramics business, ceramic pieces are created with passion and crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail. And this has been the case for generations, since 1886.
       •  The stoneware used in these ceramics comes from high-quality clay, harvested in the region and worked by hand. The glazes, the result of extensive research, are created from untreated, natural materials.
       •  Hand-crafted by these inspired ceramists no less, each piece is unique, original and exclusive.
       •  The Ikora range is produced from reactive glazed stoneware. Finished entirely by hand, each piece is unique and will add a unique touch to your table
       •  This manufacturing technique involves the application of different enamels and metal oxides: Following a first firing, the craftsmen apply metal oxides to the pottery to create the desired effect. These pieces are then covered with an enamel of another colour, which brings out the metal oxides. The colour and rendering of the enamels therefore depend on the temperature, the firing time, the thickness of the enamel and its method of application..
